Newborn portraits

I will be taking some newborn portraits this week. Any ideas and suggestions? Props to use? Lighting? I have studio lights and basic backdrops to use, etc.

A google image search put blanket in basket, barrel, bucket what ever, big wooley hat on child's head and take photo under natural light with a nice wooden floor and neutral colored wall behind.

For sleeping and unclothed shots keep the room very warm it will stop the screaming. I always have gentle music playing in the background.
