Hi everyone.
Reason for me buying a DSLR was while on holiday in Rome, the little compact just didn't do the job of capturing the sites.
So ,always a late thing, when I got back I bought a Canon Eos 1000d and some other goodies.

Lots to learn, but I thought I would post up the following pic.

The lens that came with the camera is a EF-S 18-55, but found it to be quite restrictive, but then is it a standard lens???
The other is a EF 75-300 1:4-5.6 III lenses which is great for shots so far.:)

good lenses rav, i need to get me another lens, as I have a wide angle one atm

haha I do know how to use it :p just not 100% yet, its all about learning as you go :)

I started with an EOS 1000d and then got a 50d, the 1000d is a great wee camera and quite portable, like the pic also
