Hello all, I've just joined today, but have been browsing the site for a while now and decided to take the plunge and join because I think I can learn a lot from here :). I've just upgraded from a Nikon D70s to the D7000 and was reading the threads about street photography. Off to London for the day on Saturday so am going to take my 50mm lens and nothing else - after reading the advice on here I hope I can get some decent shots. Looking forward to joining in with you all.

I'm trying to work out how to upload photos. I didn't take any street shots unfortunately; but I bought a new lens - 10-24 wide angle and played with that along the obvious tourist area of The Thames. By the time I got to Covent Garden to take some street performers, I had some lunch, then was evacuated from the Piazza Cafe due to a "small" fire in the roof area - three fire engines and lots of smoke! An exciting day....
 
Hi Rob, thank you for the link; I will have to submit the photos and resize them, I'm afraid I've got to work tonight, so will give it a go tomorrow. Fingers' crossed!
