Hi all,

I'm new here and really want to get some helpfull advice so i can get the best out of my DSLR.

Got given a Sony A200 ( Awaits flaming....) as a christmas present, and just wanna get as much advice/ help with getting to grip withthe basics..

So, any advice glady received...

There are loads of other Sony owners here and some of them are bigger than us, so you'll not get flamed :lol:
 
Hi Welcome to the forum.
My tip would be to take loads of pictures to get used to the camera and settings.
Start off with the basic - full program, then the aperture and shutter priority.
Then if needs be experiment with the manual settings.
Like I say takes lots of pictures and have fun. :)
If you have any specifics they may well be answered here already.
If not just start a thread - you soon get some answers.
On technics, post-processing, etc.
 
Hello your right in the thick of it here
You'll get all you need, Right from the off
As the peeps above say
Take all the shots you can to get to know your camera
different days, light, night and sunset, Its the only way to learn
Then just ask
some here will help or direct you in the best way
