Hi, I hope I am ok to ask a few basic question in here, I am sure there will be many more to come.
I have just purchased Nikon D60,( my first DSLR camera) and I would like to start with a few basic questions.
1 Is it ok to leave the lens on the camera in a bag, or best to detach to lens until you want to use it?
2 Many of my photo's will be sport/beach orientated, are there any precautions I should take using this camera on a windy beach, ie is it best not to change lenses etc on the beach
3 I have seen the word RAW bantered about, this is something new to me, I understand that the photo will be huge, but what are the advantages of using RAW over a Jpeg.
Cheers

) was doing the op/tech ones for a fiver. I had one of those big rain cover ones, but they're a bit cumbersome so you end up leaving them behind, the opt/tech ones (or a plastic bag) are a better option
