Newbie Here from Bristol

Hi there,

A couple of people have sent me a link to this website, and thought I'd join up, as I'm looking to get a camera over the next few months, as have a few weddings and a couple of others events that I'm going to this year where I want to be able to capture some great photos.

Not sure on which camera I will get at the moment, but it will be one of the entry level SLRs like the canon 350D/400, or Nikon models, but will keep an eye out in the For Sale section

Until then I'll be looking over the forum to get lots of ideas and some idea of how best to use an slr

I've currently got a Sony DSC W1 which I will keep hold of just for the times i might not want to take an SLR camera out
