Hi everyone, I'm a newbie,
my names Dave from the wirral nr Liverpool. i'm a big fan of Ps and trying to get my head around Lr at the moment. I use a Nikon D5100
with kit lens and a Sigma 18-200 and belong to a local society.

If you have a Flickr account, it's easy to post an image. You copy and paste the BB code and that's it! I can't do it any other way, sorry!

No I missed it , I was in Ireland - B****r those look like very interesting shots for competition purposes
 
Thanks. There was so much going on down there. Morrisons was flooded out with water above the trolley wheels. The electrics for the whole block went bang, so some folk were trapped in the Travellodge because the electric doors were jammed. Then the car from the car park got washed into the Marine Lake. We were marooned upstairs in Starbucks as the water on the road was over a foot deep and was raging down the street. Not safe to cross because of blown manhole covers.
An interesting 90 minutes.
 
I got a text from the missus about the flooding, i heard reports on the radio of there being a storm surge expected in the river dee but didn't think about newbrighton. the approach and landing at Aldergrove on thursday was somewhat sporting; the captain got a round of applause when he landed, he certainly earned his pay for the day.
