Hello everyone, my names mick and im from a wee town called dumbarton in scotland.

Been lurking a while and have been raiding the photography section on another forum I visit for info (dw). Finally decided to take the plunge into dslr territory with a nikon d3100.

So figured I better join up so I can pick everyones brain over choices of lenses etc. .

Anyway im rambling now so howdy

definately still finding my feet with it, slow going trying to learn the ins and out of my cam.

We all started somewhere My first camera was a Canon 20D about 6 or 7 years ago now - how time flies!

Ahhh memories! used to play hockey in Dumbarton and they did not take any prisoners!

Spent a lot of time round Helensburgh as a young un.
