Best introduce myself before I start posting else where on the forum.
I'm Paul and live in South Wales just outside of Pontypool with my wife, 3 children and 2 boxer dogs
Currently using a Fuji s5 Pro - not the fastest camera but certainly can capture some stunning pic's of slower subjects. Not really invested any decent glass other than a Tamron F2.8 90mm Macro lens which I am very pleased with. Other than that a 55-200 tamron zoom and a Nikon 18-55mm kit lens.
Prior to the Fuji I had a Canon EOS400d which was a great starting point...... however I would love to "upgrade" to a Nikon D700 funds permitting
. The Fuji has swayed me over to Nikon purely on the basis of feel, weight, asthetics etc etc.
For now though the Fuji is serving me very well indeed and has plenty more to give..... it out performs my ability I am sure
Anyway, here are some sample pic's
1 - a watch shot of a Tudor Sports chrono
2 - Molly, unfortunately no longer with us as she passed away last November, missed by us all
3 - dragon fly in our garden last summer
4 - Pontypool park at night
5 - Pontypool park....... a tree
Please feel free to add any feedback regarding my attempts at photography - always looking to learn
