Just a quick message to say hello to everyone. I am only a begginner to photography...well sort of. I've had various cameras since starting college but have only recently decided to learn photography properly instead of just using the auto setting! I am just in the stages of experimenting with different settings on the camera and different editing techniques. Don't really know what I am doing properly yet but it's fun trying. Hopefully I will pick up some tips here :)

hope you get the auto setting well and truly buried...its not a disaster to make mistakes but with digital is the way forward..

He he....you'll find you aren't the only one here and that includes me! Key is to keep taking pictures, keep learning and keep enjoying - don't worry about whether or not your images are technically perfect or whether or not if you've got the best gear - as long as you are having fun, that's the key thing! :D

How's life up in the Fylde coast? Some good landscapes there for you to get out and about and take lot's of snaps.

Yep there certainly is a lot to photograph on the Fylde Coast. It's never been my ideal place to live but I am tied to the area. I've started looking at Blackpool and it's surrounding areas in a different light though recently since I have been getting into photography more. I think I might even be starting to like the place :nuts:
