newbie from leicestershire

Welcome to the forum:wave: You are jumping in with both feet. I think you will find there is quite a lot to learn, if you are to cover all those categories you have posted. There is also the need for financial outlay to cover kit, training, advertising and insurance. You will find very helpful people on here, who will give you advice, that is from experience, they will explain the realities, which might not be what you want to hear:shrug: Anyway, good luck to you. Rob

welcome...
from one newbie in leicester to another

took some fireworks pics over last week but not had a chance to put them on. Always tricky to do those ;)

Thankyou feek for your feedback, I understand that I won't be able to cover all those categories successfully so I have been thinking about training in one or 2 of those categories alone and specialising eventually. In relation to gear and the financial outlay of opening a business, I certainly wouldn't be doing that straight away. I would like to go to college first and train up slowly and properly as rushing ahead of myself can only end up in disaster. If you could give me any tips, advice etc into what would be a good starting point in learning photography successfully then I would appreciate any help given, either from yourself or anyone else who is reading this thread.:)

ps: Thankyou for your welcome message Rafiki:)

Hi  and :welcome: to TP.

Regarding the tips on the kit, you may want to post that in the Talk Equipment sub-forum; for the business aspect, have a go at the Talk Business area. You will find a lot of good tips and pointers to get on the right track.

Meanwhile, best of luck with your endeavours, and I hope you enjoy your time around here; this gets very costly as you will soon find out ;)

Hi Wail, thankyou for your feedback - I have already researched into the cost and understand that it will be costly but it is a project that I will be building up slowly and taking it one step at a time. Thankyou for heading me into the right direction regarding relevant sub-forums.
