Hey guys, I'm Lucy, 18 and single mummy to 14month old Caitlyn!

I am looking into getting out there and into the photography world specialising in maternity, kids and family portraits but as I haven't started yet I am unsure how to begin,

Hi lucy welcome to tp, i cant really help with the type of photography you are into, as i am mainly into motorsport photography, but just like to say hi and welcome.
 
Welcome to the forum Lucy :)
The best thing is just to post up some of your best images that you've taken in one of the sub forums, and there will be lots of people to give you advice on how to improve them and different things to try out. There's also a 'basics' forum if you're stuck with anything. Just don't be afraid to post up your work :D
