What do you plan on giving up? Chocolate
What do you plan on starting? A diet

Not sure that I'm gonna give anything up. I do intend to become fitter and healthier, and make the most of the beautiful scenery surrounding me. I also want to start snowboarding. There may be a camera involved in all of this too ;)

I'm planning on giving up working for some bunch of arseoles,

and working for myself as a pro togger.

Well we can all have dreams can't we :(

I resolve to use the rowing machine more, got to get my waistline down and my overall fitness up.

i never bother with NYR's - because it means you're deciding on your life for the next year.

just do what you want to do - dont make 1 big decision and stick to it. make loads of little decisions as the year goes on and fulfil those instead.

don't go there with easter eggs we have ours ready to go out on the 3rd jan

i gave up smoking 6 weeks ago so it won't be that.

But i have to say that it will have to be to put some weight on (and yes i do mean that )and get out allot more to take pictures.

No problem, it takes alot of will power to give that up and the more praise and encouragement the more determind you get :)

tow word thatgot me to stick to it after i did start and told no one (waits for the screaming in my ears from a mod soon) was relife and proud..from my kids.. (sp) gthey say they need me around for alot longer... more like they need my purse around for alot longer.. but thank you again

I am not sure if this is photography related, or to cover everything serious?

What do you plan on giving up?

I don't plan to give-up much; but I may have to rethink my glass line-up. Too many overlaps, especially between zooms & primes. May be something(s) going to go in that respect.

I hope to get my gallery up and running; I've been hand-tied for too long and have to get this moving. Finding the time to get this moving. It's to promote up-coming and amateur photographers & show-casing their pictures!

I want to complete my documentary of my country (Saudi Arabia). It's going well so far, given the very little time and resourced I have at my disposal, not exactly as planned but heading in the right direction. I hope to get it done and out of my "100 things to do before I die" before the end of 2010.

F1, Bahrain, Malaysia, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, , Monaco

I have just a few:

Shed the excess pounds (quite a lot)
De-clutter my life (lose all the pointless crap and focus on what matters)
Start my OU degree (been planning this for years, lol)

Allow me to reciprocate Kev

smoking, coz cgeezer told me its the only way I can afford a Nikon 70-200VR and its good for me :suspect: I dont think its good for my loved ones... no promises on this one...if I get past lunchtime it will be a miracle!

What do you plan on starting?
- errr.....no bloody idea, biting my nails and eating cream cakes and shouting a lot, if part 1 is followed for more than a few hours

lose a few llbs
go to bed earlier

My resolutions...

Take MORE pictures of people. and stop telling myself landscapes make me happy... :'( ( All the picturs I REALLY like are of People)

Try some of the lighting plans I have in my head on real people.:cuckoo:

Post more pictures on here and stop worrying about if you'll like em or not:love:

Buy less stuff and use more.:geek:

PRINT EM BIG!

Well, this year needs to be a good one for me really. I had a lot of fun last year, but equally didn't do all that much in the grand scheme of things. So. This year I want to take more photos (obligatory point there :D), but not just of landscapes and street... I want to get into urbexing and incorporating people into what I currently shoot. I need to finally get a website up and running, and ultimately sell more prints!

Also, this "year out" has really made me realise how much I miss physics (yes, I'm a geek! :D) and learning in general. So, this year I WILL get into an MSc course and finally get my life back on track for what I want to do.

Role on 2010!

As for giving something up? Hmmm. Procrastination is probably a good thing to get shot of! Though, I can see that being difficult...

Good luck Yvonne

Giving up is easy, I have done it loads of times :D
trouble is shifting the weight once I start again though :(
