to keep my mouth shut a bit more often on TPF.
I've already managed to stop my fingers going off on a big rant on the two 'homeless' threads, so i'm starting my NY Rez early :)

lose a few stone

and be happy

md:thumbs:

Well Me and Mrs galaxy are just starting off on the "gym thing"
I would love to lose at least 15 kilo, not that I am grossly overweight for my height at 81 kilo and 5ft 9ins I just know I felt better when was 15 kilo less.
So that is mine, giving up the snacks, chocolate, and the gallons of cafe late' that I consume in a week.

The same as every year.... I need to lose at least 1 stone in weight and tone up, so I guess it's healthy eating and the gym - again!

At 5' 8" and 92k I hope to continue going in the opposite direction. I've had a cold past few days and not been eating much so I dare say I've lost some wait. Can't wait to get back in the gym and put the wait back on plus more. I would like to reduce the body fat a bit more and increase the definition.

So the missus and I are in good company then:bonk:

Shall we form an alliance and support each other to keep all these resolutions?

First one not to keep it must undergo some penalty:thinking:

Yes, watch a whole season of Idols in a week:lol:

The few times I have been laid up with a virus I have been well chuffed on getting better to find I have lost loads of weight :)

We had the TPF 'Slimathon' thread last/this year and I think it died a death. I must have joined it about 5 times :$ I'm determined this year though as my life is about to undergo some major changes.

That right, I was only kidding, but best of luck in your determination for whatever reason it is, mine is the dread of having to move up to a 36ins waist, although I am selective in where I buy my trousers and probably am a 36 already:) just wont buy a 34 ins if they do not fit. I refuse to measure myself!!
Heck, I really am kidding myself:D

I'm 6ft 0" and 81kg which is about right now, I just need to work on the tummy a bit more.

The only things I want to do this year

Actually do some photography again

get a new job

Serious Stuff:
Start a second business which I will run with my wife in our spare time.
Concentrate on my existing business and work smarter, not harder!
Try and pay off a large chunk of the mortgage.

Not so serious:
Get good at this photo business!
Start to discover all of Scotland, lived here too long and seen too little. Want to learn more and experience more of my country.
Better diet.
Loose weight.

Gary.

Two years ago my NY resolution was to recycle glass (our council doen't include it in its collections). I'm still reclying glass - despite the fact I now have my own parking spot at the recyc centre  - it's scary how the wine bottles mount up. :(

This year? Drink less wine????

I don't mind lossing weight if it's fat it's losing the muscle mass I don't want to happen. Mind you I hadn't done any weights for about 8 years and after re-starting back in April the mass had increased quite quickly.

Somewhere between 6'2" and 6'3" and recently came down from 97 to 90.

Now for the last 5 kg's and to flatten the gut!

Dont normally do the new years resolution thing, but this year I'm going to. It is to get out more with my camera and take more pictures (better ones too), especially of news worthy events in my region. Also I plan to start taking photography more seriuosly and setting up a part time business, got my first wedding booked in Febuary, fingers crossed.

Stop smoking, again... I stopped for a year then took it back up. Save up enough to go to Tibet.

Be happy in general.
Don't start smoking, since some of my friends at college smoke and i'm always around them, so i've been well good not to start. second year running.
Actually start the gym.
get my horse chelsea fit & try to get to some little local shows.
get a job.
Take some good photos, and make a good portifolio.
Get into college next year in either photography or film and media.
Start up a new hobby. like a new sport or something.
And dont get as drunk as much, that will last till the next time i get drunk :L

Good luck on the smoking part!

I have been there (ex-pack of Camel a day:bang:)

Best favour you can do yourself - but then you know this if you have been off it for a year;)
