Yes
Each year I make one and each year I break it, but next year is going to be different!!

My next years resolution is not to buy any more camera equipment, be happy with what I have got and to practice, practice and more practice and become a better photographer, I want to learn Portraits, HDR and Landscapes, I am going to do two more courses on the Portrait and Landscape as these are run on my frontdoor via Blackthorn Photographic School, and the HDR from books and the internet tutorials.

So thats my next year sorted out, Ill let you know how it all goes

heh, good luck with that. Funnily enough, my nyr is to buy a bit MORE gear, in that i could really use a good tripod, remote shutter and a 50mm 1.4 lens. Just got a tidy little christmas bonus so that 1.4 is calling for me...

To be honest I similar Tony. At christmas I'll be getting my landscape gear and a one light portrait kit for myselg and next year my resolution is to use it and not gag for any more serious gear (i.e. lenses, cameras) however I'll allow little bits and bobs such as if the need arises for a shutter release.

I am starting a gear fund though on Jan 1st and any cash I make I'm going to contribute to the fund and then every month I'll break into it and spend it on some new gear or even a new shirt etc whatever floats my boat :)

Hmm mine would be to possibly get a small agency up and running, I've everything semi-planned but will get it going in the new year.

Other than that enter more competitions go more work for the college paper and actually buy a cheap DSLR with HD video( cause I just want to try it!) < that's not really a new years resolution though'

Congratulations on the bonus, enjoy your new niffty fifty :wave:

Mine would have to be to move out of my comfort zone of landscape and wildlife and do more people photographs.
