It was pointed out earlier in thread there are a lot of deserving cases which most applaud, especially those awarded to people like many of us, just folks in the community helping out, volunteering and doing a good job.

That highlights the farce right there for me personally.

Err....I did say it was my opinion.
He wasn't the only one to one up with idea either and it's more amazing to me how he has maintained a celebrity profile and get a Knighthood considering he was only ever marginally funny in the Tiswas era..

Yeah, although my sister got hers for knitting (community work), there's plenty of deserving cases and it's good for these to be recognised.
