New Website..

Nice and clean and excellent photos but the menu text is a bit small.
Also the colour difference between white and the text on the about and inspiration pages is so small that the text is barely readable.
And I had no idea what icm was. I had to google it.

Nice and clean, but maybe capitalise your name (proper grammar and all that) and add slideshow controls on the image, not somewhere random on the left. It took me a little while to figure out. Main image is not what I would pick - perhaps use a slideshow there.

Thanks guys..Kev, have changed text colour on those pages and glad you now know what icm

daugirdas, can't do anything about controls that's how the template is and I like lower case

boliston, yes it is a flash site, currently I can't afford an HTML one

There is no real reason why flash should cost any more or any less than HTML - even some of the cheapest webhosts will tend to offer cpanel (a sort of "control panel" for your site ;)) which has "one click install" for a whole variety of HTML based web building software via softaculous https://www.softaculous.com/softaculous/apps - with popular free software such as wordpress, joomla, coppermine etc which allow a website to be easily created even with no coding skills.

boliston..they offer various layouts/templates at diiferent price structures i.e starter £6.50 per month, basic £10.00 per month and so on right up to £45.00 per month. The £6.50 ones are all flash apart from 2 which I didn't like and show the images way too small!

Your link robinchun.com actually becomes layerspace.com. I think its a shame that link takes you to a gallery. what is normally a link back to the home page, the text "Robin Chun Photography" isn't a link and the blog page seems to function as a 'home' page. Flash is a bit 'outdated' which is a shame. What puzzles me is why you chose zenfolio in the first place if you are only looking for a portfolio site, and why you would choose to spend even more when its a fairly simple site with a blog. Wordpress would probably work equally well.

The contrast between text and background is too little, and the text isn't scalable, which is a mistake. If this is what the template provides and you can't amend it, I'm thinking the template is outdated.

That's really expensive for what you get. It makes even smug mug look like a steal with lots more options. Let alone you can build your own site and pay around £60 for 3 year hosing on vidahost.

clear and obvious...

Works better on my phone than on my desktop computer. The text is far too small.
