Yes
I have been on the look out for a Panasonic TV and come across the following shop in Ashton (Lancashire) U.K. which gives 7yr warranty.
Anyone used them?

Accepted thinking these days is that a tv should last a minumum of six years barring accidental damage.
Anyone wishing to take it up with the manufacturer (especially Samsung), are likely to get either a repair or replacement anyway :-)

7 yrs sounds good. I think Panasonic themselves do 6yrs on certain models, so maybe worth shopping around too.

Since posting I have found out that the tps store is also a Panasonic Store, so should be O.k. I was going to buy a TV from them (Panasonic TX-39AS600B) only to find out that it is out of stock as are other outlets. Seems it is now discontinued model That model just fitted what I wanted. Going to look at one that RicherSounds call "Out of the Box" which I think means was a demo or some one as had it on trial, still as the 5yr guarantee from when I buy it, if I buy it.

TPS are fine ive bought from them previously no problems and as you've sussed they are main dealers.
