New Tripod and head needed

After many years of service my manfrotto tripod has succumbed to to many trips to the seaside and with looking to do some video on my dslr I need to upgrade the 3 way head as it's a little cumbersome for filiming with.

Would any one be able recommend a good combination. Tripod needs to be light and come to head height, approx 6ft. I'm looking for a video head but have not idea what to get.

I have just bought a lightweight Slik tripod - for local walks

my heavier Manfrotto Pro Series 290 is about to go up for sale - vgc, boxed, with a Manfrotto shoulder strap
it's 'legs only' - which i feel is a better way of then choosing your own style head
