Just ordered myself a lovely 8x7 Lastolite Hilite with vinal train and black bottletop.................
SO, That plus my 5 Lencarts smartflash's should do lovely :)

This is a pointless post, Im just looking forward to it so thought I would share :)

5 smartflashes? I assume 2 of them are going inside the Hilite, or do you have smaller speedlites for that?

Have you ever used 5 lights in 1 set up?
 
I often use 5 for high key stuff, 2 on the back, 2 on the floor and a nice big octobox. this will be the same. :)
 
The hard bit is lighting the floor/train to match the hilite without overpowering the subject...have fun, you will enjoy it. Out of curiosity, what did you pay as I'm selling my 8x7 ?
 
I wish I had knowen you were selling before as I would have prefered to have kept it in the TPF community. Leon

I dont have a train Leon,

I made one from an old Vinyl that I had laying around...Just added the velcros to the rear and off we went....Saying that though, I used it for events and to be honest the hassle I had blowing out the join wasn't worth the effort so I canned the train altogether...

I think you got yourself a real bargain there Leon...Well done fella.

Its designed specifically for the Hilite so no hassle cutting the joining edge to shape... but when you get it, Make your own mind up as to whether it is worth it. lolo, the Hilite is a great piece of kit if used properly...

The reason Im selling is because I just dont like the effect anymore and also that Im not doing those kind of events anymore. Im also selling a smaller 5x7 one too..
