Hello everyone, names Rob and looking to expand my amateur photography skills.
I own a Canon EOS 400D DSLR which I purchased almost two years ago and have been enjoying ever since. I have two lens, 18-55mm and 75-300mm, which has served me well to date and I'm looking to get the most out of what I have.
Bit of a petrol head so I'll warn you now that the majority of my photos are car orientated but I've recently started getting into landscapes (live in the Scottish Highlands).
Here are some examples of what I have done... mainly on the point and shoot settings (which I'm hoping to get away from, bit of experimenting):
While I'm happy with the results I want to take the photography to the next stage and try and introduce some motion blur, etc, rather than just having a pretty but static looking photo.
Potentially on the lookout for some new hardware as well but I'll no doubt find out what's best from my readings on here.
