New to photography, new to Berkshire, help!!!!!!

Great forum and really pleased to be a member.Can the forum help me.At 51 have spent a lifetime taking "snaps" and now want to take "photographs", especially having seen some of the members photographs.

I am new to Berkshire and would like to "try" and take some landscape and/ or motorsport/aviation photographs, does anybody know Berkshire well enough to suggest any suitable venues.

Any help would be really appreciated

My "equipment" is a Minolta Maxxum 7000i + 35-80 + 70 - 210
 
Depends wherabouts in berkshire you are. If you're close to the berkshire/bucks border then I know of Booker airfield in High wycombe - good for light aircraft, helicopters, and gliders. Don't forget Heathrow is a not that far away and there's a few places around the airport where you'll get some half decent shots.

Marlow is always a very photogenic area, as are many villages on the berks/bucks/oxford borders.

Can't help with motorsport as it's not my thing.

Might be able to suggest other places if you can give us a more specific location... :)
 
I am fully mobile and have next week off with nothing planned, so will take up your suggestions but will give Heathrow miss as always find it a nightmare driving around that area , thanks for your advice
