New (to me) film lab in Leeds

I was looking at the Google Maps Leeds map this week (considering where to go on my birthday) and came across a film lab. From their site, it seems it only opened in 2020. To me, the interesting thing was that 5x4 was a film size they could handle. Coincidentally, my latest parcel from WYC contained a flyer from them.

I'll be making enquiries with them. The idea of 4 hrs b&w enlarging on their DeVere 504 for £40 is v appealing. Handily I live in Nottingham

I have used Take It Easy lab for mono and colour processing (35mm and 120) in the past.

There were some issues with the mono processing (which they subcontract out), but these were sorted out to my satisfaction.

Their turnaround was quite quick though (and faster than some other places I’ve used)

I'm now a B&W member of Make it easy in Nottingham. I have my induction booked for next week which includes a 4 hour slot on a DeVere 504. I don't have many if any print worthy 4x5 negs so will be taking a few 35mm and 120 negs to try. You have to provide your own paper. Report of the experience will follow in due course.

For info the Nottingham part of the organisation is a collaboration between Make it easy and the former Photo Parlour.

The idea of 4 hrs b&w enlarging on their DeVere 504 for £40 is v appealing.

As a member this 4 hrs cost is reduced by 50% to £20. I've taken a 6 month B&W membership at £50 initially and will review at the 6 month point.

I've been to the Make it Easy place in Nottingham today for my induction. It's an absolutely brilliant place and I'll certainly be going again. I'll give the full details separately tomorrow.

Just looked on their website and they do E6 plus scan to Hi-Res TIFF, I'll give them a go with my next roll.

Anyone tried their E6 developing yet? I've got a film I've just finished and need to develop, the lab I used previously seems to have stopped doing developing.

Not me I've gone with Silverpan again (I used them before, results were good but turnaround was slower than I was used to) as they're sllightly cheaper and have the same turnaround time. They also scan to large TIFF.
