Hi,
I am currently living in Berlin, but about to leave it, heading to London.
Please be forgiving regarding my english mistakes*, as I will when you talk in german or french
I started this hobby early with an agfa pocket, later (at 14 years or so) with a brand new minolta X700, but after a few years, I turned more to other things. In the digital years, I photographed more again, even if it was only with a half decent 3MP camera (though with manual mode and an f2.0 lens), until I finally found DSLRs good enough and affordable and bought a Samsung GX-1s (why? small, lightweight, good prism viewfinder, solidly built, and the large range of available older and compatible Pentax mount lenses).
So, since then I photographed much more again and love it.
Mostly people, also nature and architecture/city life.
I'd love to make it for a living, but well, you don't have to fear new concurrence, as I'm not good enough... yet
I'm sure I will be in good company here... and for you - one stupid new user won't really make a difference and only lower the average quality of posts very slightly, I guess.
All the best to everyone,
Dominique
*But uhm, in case anyone ever feels like correcting me, go ahead, I'm always glad to learn
