The intrinsic relationship between camera speed, aperture and ISO is fundamental to unlocking the potential of your camera combined with your imagination veiwpoint and knowledge.
There are many tutorials on You Tube and some of them will be Camera specific for your model. Probably the best advice I can give you is to start thinking about what you want to photograph. Try 'framing' the subject and thinking about what you want to leave in or leave out. Composition is also another important consideration and the 'rule of the thirds' is worth learning (plenty of information on photographic sites and lots of examples on here).
A tripod is also your second most important investment as it will not only allow you on concentrate on the subject, but more importantly allow you to photograph your subject in low light and achieve a greater depth of field. DoF iis all part and parcel of the aforementioned relationship.
Get reading, watching, photographing and posting and I hope you have many happy hours.
