I've decided I want a new one which i can wall mount as my current one is fine but is taking up alot of desk space and can not be wall mounted (didn't know this at the time of buying it!)
I'm after any recommendations on who to avoid and who are good! - only exception is Samsung I dont like them so will not buy one of them!
22inch screen up to 26inch
Wall Mount-able
HD Ready
HDMI connectors needed (for xbox)
Free view built in
Free view recorder would be brill!
panasonic, Sony, hitachi, lg ?

I could make suggestions in the 42"+ range, small ones I have no idea about I'm afraid.

LG are always good, I currently have a 42" LG LCD and is brilliant and a bargain when i bought it, my parents also have 2 42" LG LCDs of varying age and they are great too. Obviously they are bigger than what you require but i can't see smaller screens being any less quality!! :)

Reevoo is quite a good site when trying to compare, i used it quite alot when i bought mine.

Samsung are good. Shame you don't like them. Have a look on richersounds and see what they have on offer. LG are also quite good. AV forums is a good site for fuller recommendations though.

Just to be silly - go to your local Bose dealer and take a look at their all-singing 46" with the inbuilt sound system..........6 grand:D

Or the Bang and Olufsen at 11 grand:lol::lol::lol:

Bose?? 95% marketing 5% good.

Sanding make pretty good tv, lg not so but still good enough

Looking at the Sony 24" Internet Telly! Anyone have any thoughts http://www.johnlewis.com/231222351/Product.aspx

Hi

Sony and Panasonic do good TV's in the size range you're looking at, not the cheapest, but there are sound quality issues with the cheap TV's

Def recommend John Lewis, keep an eye on the web / Sony stores, as it's the run up to Christmas there are generally offers on. Sony last year on run to Christmas offered VAT back on tv's bought up to Christmas eve

cant recommend a soundbar for larger TVs, my samsung sounds bloody naff when i turn the soundbar of!

Go with the Sony ( I have a 32" internet HD+ beasty ) but get a soundbar ^ or some other speaker set. Sony make nice TVs but never could make a decent speaker.

oops.
