New Site

Hi all just sorted and finished my new site using lightroom and some downloaded templates which I then pulled apart and put back together to use in lightroom. I would love some C&C on it and how I could make it better...

I like it Andy, looks nice and clean.
Really like your links bar at the side, nice effect!
Your layout for your galleries seems to work well also.

Couple of little crits, I would perhaps remake your logo? I find it a little too scribbly. I know this is the effect you are going for, just think its a bit over done - in my opinion of course.
The other thing is I would maybe change is the animated pictures on your homepage. I would have these all the same size, I find it a bit annoying when they resize. Again just in my opinion.

Good site, nice clean layout and loads pretty quick. I would say the same about the logo, it doesn't read easily.

really nice site, I would echo what others have said about the logo. Also im not to keen on the white light effect in the center of the page, I find it a bit irritating.
Other than that its great, loads nice and quickly and is easy to navigate.

West sussex is a lovely place eh

Thanks for all your kind commits, which I have taken on board and am in the process of changing the logo. Finding it a bit hard as I hate designing for myself never happy lol lol come to think of it never happy with my photos allways wanting to do better...lol

Except that it took me over a minute to find it! It might be better if it were a little more obvious - especially as visitors are going to be distracted by all the movement in the centre.

just a small crit.
id place a container div and style it to a limited size such as 1000px wide.
then keep the background stretched.

only reason is that im on a very high resolution 24" monitor and your gallery menu is miles to the left, and the other buttons miles over on the right.
