Hi all

I've just bought a new Sandisk Extreme Pro 64gb SD card for my new Fuji X-T4. It's exactly the same spec (same symbols on the card) as my older SD card but 170mb/s rather than 95mb/s.

My 2017 iMac built in SD card slot won't copy the files off. Sometimes it just doesn't see the card. Sometimes It reads the card, lets me select copy, but fails when writing to my hard drive.

The new cards work fine in Mrs Oy's newer Macbook.

Is this the older SD slot not being up tp spec? If so I'll buy a new USB SD card reader. If so what spec do I need? Any recommended readers?

I guess I'll just order something new and expensive.

The card's SDXC, and a quick look at specs shows your 2017 card slot is too.
Have you tried reformatting the card in your Mac?

Thanks @Tori_T

Yeah tried that - no go.

Just tried a regular USB SD card reader from a friend - works fine. I guess my SD Slot must have a glitch.
