All games rock at this size and res... :) needs some GPU grunt though.... hence 2x 4GB 670s.

My old screen was the same size. I had a Eizo SX3031W S-PVA model, but it failed under warranty. They couldn't repair it, so they sent me this.

I have to say, I'm not liking the black levels of IPS compared to S-PVA and the black glow is annoying. It's such a pity no one makes a decent S-PVA screen any more. :(

The hardware 12 bit profiling rocks though. I've never seen gradients so smooth in all my life. It even makes my old Eizo look stupid! Colour accuracy is awesome too.
 
Is the dell on the left your own self mounted add on? And am I right in thinking its serves as sort of a zoom area on pointer or something?

It's just an old Dell FP2007 4:3 (1600x1200) monitor in portrait mode I use as a second screen for photoshop toolbars.

Here it is with my old Eizo SX3031W. Photoshop toolbars are all on the smaller screen, leaving a massive 30" workspace just for editing.

In portrait mode, the Dell has a res of 1200x1600, which matches the vertical res of my main screen... which is 2560x1600.. to give you an idea... here's a screen grab of my working desktop in full res.

That's awesome and rather clever! Is it hard to set up and how is it mounted?

Dam i just chucked my old dell monitor ,never thought of trying this with it ..:(

Windows 8, reskinned, and using Stardock Start8 to give me back the start menu and so it boots to the desktop. I've also got custom icons, and Stardock's Object Dock for my main apps.

That's the only problem now.. LOL.. I can't actually reach the sill to dust effectively. I pull everything out once in a while when it gets too embarrassing.... otherwise.. out f sight, out of mind :)

Like the idea of the palettes on the smaller screen and the main workspace on the large screen like that.
