Other than sell it

Havent had a Nokia for around 8yrs & fancied a change from my prefered
Sony Ericsson's.

Any advice, tips etc for this model?

Thanks in advance.

Its a great piece of kit :)
I had it and now my GF is using it :)
Maybe the camera is not the best in the world but apart from that its just great for phonecalls, emails and even internet on the go :)
But why not to wait for e72 that should be on the market now or soon :)

Thanks Lukas, I traded it in for an old HTC TyTn II which I couldnt get on with.

I wasnt to worried about a newer model as the E71 worked out cheap enough.

I was bored with WM mobiles and got myself E71 :)
Have fun :)

It's a great piece of kit. Download the BBC iPlayer and you can watch downloaded content on the go. The Google mobile apps are also brilliant and Nokia Maps - sorry Ovi Maps are also great - download the relevant maps and city guides and you have your own personal sat nav for free with no data charges.

Lots of other apps downloadable but not the breadth or low cost of iPhone ones. Nevertheless th E71 beats the iPhone hands down in all sorts of otehr areas

lol didnt knew that there is iPlayer for Nokia ;)
have to give it a go tonite:)

Jeez cheers bud - Google here I come

other features
(iplayer, google maps as stated above)
-add sat nav, the nokia one is crap, i love route 66, didnt get along with garmin
-nokia sporttracker (gps tracks your route, can be set to be live viewable online etc)
-mlock: application locks the keypad, i assign it to the top left button for quick easy locking
-assuming you have a dataplan make sure AGPS is on, it downloads info off hte network to make getting a gps signal much faster, i have been very impressed with its gps ability and speed (comparing to other phones + dedicated gps devices).
-skype
-fring
-voip using the inbuilt SIP
-joikuspot -turns it into a 3G wireless router (eats the battery and gets hot, but usefull at times)

-note you can teather it to your laptop (ie get internet on your laptop through the phone) but that will depend on your network data clauses (three say you shouldnt do it, Ive done it only on occasion and its not been a problem)

-when posting replys on the forums the reply box doesnt always work as you would hope (you end up writing off the screen) i just copy and paste the text into a text message, finish writing it, then copy and paste it back.

-note pressing and holding the home button shows what applications are open and lets you switch between them (or kill tem as to many open will slow it down, so you dont want load open when on the web/iplayer etc)

-the camera is pants, its bad auto white (blue/purple) balance makes it even worse (i know you dont expect it to be good, but sometimes it is handy), macro is good for taking notes of things you cant be bothered to write down though.

-note press 2 to autofocus before taking a picture (this littleadvertised 'feature' must mean there are a lot of users that have blurry shots (aswell as noisey and blue lol))
