New potential laptop

Looks like a good buy, I had the same thing happen last year and went for a Lenovo IdeaPad with similar features but an AMD Quad Core processor. I run all the Canon software that came with my camera and PSE 11 with no problems and I've got all my photos on it as well and still have loads of room to spare.

Thanks for replying, yeah I like the Lenovo's but just a little above my price.

Laptop has died and need a new one, so found this on Very spec looks quite good.

Nearly at the top of my budget and would like to know everyone's thought on it please or if you have any other recommendations
Bought something very similar for my wife. She's very happy with it.

Good bit of kit, well made and without too much useless crap pre-installed - and some useful crap from Asus, too! :)

the one linked is only a dual core CPU so wont be the fastest if youre running lightroom or doing large edits.

personally id ditch the dedicated graphics for a quad core and/or more ram.
