My wife has just purchased Simon Kitchin's North Wales book for my Birthday and it is great, makes a lovely present.

Hopefully it is going to get me back out trying some locations in the book.

Just a quick mention that copies bought direct from myself are individually signed by me, Amazon not so, Melvin may have signed copies too although check beforehand... some people like a signed copy and some not so thought it worth mentioning.

All five of my remaining books have been signed by you Simon. A couple of boxes of twenty are arriving at the weekend. They're selling well because they're a great book for those wanting to head to North Wales with their camera but requiring some information on where to photograph.
 
I bought the Lake District book a few weeks ago and have just received the Wales book, they're cracking books with a lot of info and inspiration in..:)
I'm really looking forward to the Iceland and Yorkshire dales book.
 
They are great books to have in your photo bag aren't they Springer? I've booked a workshop for Iceland next Feb but I'll be taking the book with me to compare (if it's out by then).
 
They are great Melvyn,I know the lakes reasonably well but there's a lot of info on places in the book that I don't know.i don't know Wales much but am inspired to go and find some of the places in the Wales edition.!
I'm going to Iceland this October and was hoping that one would be out by then but it means I'll just have to go again next year

Thanks for buying my North Wales book Mike... be great to see photos posted in the thread here taken using the location information too so please feel free to post them!
 
The samples look great - will definitely consider these if/when visiting the areas.
 
Got the North Wales book for my other half for her birthday - having flicked through I have to say the level of detail, and the subjects covered are absolutely spot on
 
I can vouch for the North Wales book. I purchased it when it was first released and its excellent. Really well written and informative.
 
It's coming in very handy already. Love the info on the parking places for each location, saves a lot of research.

Great stuff.. me and the guys at Fotovue put a lot of thought, time and effort into it over the last 2 years so the smile on my face gets bigger every time I hear it's doing exactly what we'd hoped... helping people discover the fantastic scenery we have here in North Wales :D

I ordered Photographing North Wales on 3rd September via the fotovue website paying by PayPal. I haven't heard anything else nearly a week later and it hasn't turned up yet.

Have just sent them a message. Hope it turns up soon!
 
Just arrived :-)

Only had a quick look and looks excellent. Think I might have to order a few more at some point
 
I saw this link and purchased the book on the Sunday, I left for North Wales.! I wish I had seen it before I left. I found loads of references and photos that would have helped me enormously. I am looking forward to my return next April. the book is really helpful, with the parking, the camera instructions, and the photos are fab.
