I've bashed mine a little bit. The screen has marks. It is still usable but doesn't look very pleasing. There is also some mess with software updates. Android 5 won't install no matter what and the update pop up annoy me to despair.
Considering it is a tool that is used everywhere and isn't pampered I want something reasonable durable and affordable. The old one cost little and is certainly not as painful as killing an iphone 6s, etc. So max price is say £140-150 tops.
Would I be happy with 3rd gen moto g, or is it a step back in terms of screen, battery life or whatever? Are there any other alternatives, except maybe LG and the chinese firms? I find most LG phones have rather poor reception and worse call quality.
