So I've been planning for the past few weeks to start a new pc build. It's the first pc I've built im pretty confident with what I'm doing. I put a post on a facebook site asking what people thought of a build I'd just planned for the new year and I've had someone offer me a pc of theirs for sale. Was wondering if someone could take a look at the spec for me?
"setup is:
- i7 3770k
- Corsair h110 water cooling.
- Asus p8z77v-pro mobo.
- 16gb ddr3 corsair vengeance memory
- corsair cx750m psu
-corsair 500d case
- Samsung 840 evo 250gb SSD.
- no gfx
Mobo has dvi and hdmi output and cpu has intel hd 4000 gpu if you want to use for editing this should be a great choice"
I'm a little concerned the processor is a bit old? I'm upgrading from a old dual core celeron laptop so wondering what people think?
I've got a 840pro ssd that i'll put in with the other ssd and another 4tb hdd i'll use for files.
I'll be using it for lightroom mainly and the occasional 4K video editing from my phantom.
I had planned a new build with a 6700 series i7 would I really notice any real difference? This used rig will be about £400 cheaper than the new build.
