new on here

Hello, im new on here & new to using a proper camera as before that it was a iphone or my other mobiles ot just a basic camera

i have just got a Pentax k-r which i love, it looks great, simple to use & the software looks & works well to, so far

the 18mm-55mm lens i got with it is a little limiting when trying to take long shots but all other shots so far are working well & i will look to getting a 55-200mm lens at some point.

Im looking forward to learning lots from on here & taking my photos forward.

Welcome to TP this is a wonderful place to learn about your camera, photography and how to combine the two into a wonderful hobby

It's great to have another local member on the boards though there are plenty of TPers in the area, we're a really friendly lot

If light trails are something that you like you are in by far and away the best county to get some light trails the biggest thing that's letting down your trails here is movement get that nailed on you will be on the way to nice trail.

Please give my guide to light trails that is linked in my signature if you have a desire to improve on this type of photography..also again if your interested in my signature there is a link to the planning thread for a local TP meet next month, the meets are a great opportunity to get together with other members that love photography, and most of the time you also get to learn a little as well as have a great time
