I'm showing this one warts and scratches and all, as they seem part of the story...

If I remember correctly, this was taken in 1967 at Queens View on Loch Tummel. Not far from there was a layby with a telephone kiosk in it. From there I and my two friends (we had hiked and camped from Blair Atholl up Glen Tilt to Linn O'Dee, then back across Ben Macdui to Loch Morlich, then lifts, a train and more hiking back to the hostel on Loch Tummel) phoned our parents to find out our College results... I passed, just a bit more than only just! :)

Taken with my first real camera, the Werra 1 which I'd had for only a few months, metered from the hints in the film pack. Not sure of the film. This image was one of the first that really stirred me when I saw the prints (now long gone). The neglected negatives went round the world a couple of times before I bought a scanner in 2011. Really the negative is unusable, but it still works for me!

Here's one I took a while ago - Mamiya 645 Pro & Neopan - can't for the life of me remember the settings as it was one of my first ever medium format shots, but was home developed in Rodinal. Have only just noticed the colour cast on it so will have to revisit & change it to actual mono now I know how to actually use the scanner :)

Thank you very much indeed to the 'likers' :ty:! You're very kind:D!

I inherited the Olympus mju ii - I'm told by 'them as knows' that it's a very good camera of its type and that it has a great lens. It's also waterproof, which is useful for our soggy climate!

I have a Mamiya film camera from the 80s too, which my dad passed on to me last year. It has its own little suitcase full of attachments/lenses. I've taken some photos but haven't finished the film yet. It's very heavy and I'm not very big!

(Horrible confession: I'm more of a 'Digital Woman' - I have three - but I've loved all cameras ever since I had a Kodak Instamatic for Christmas when I was 12:)!)
