Well, I thought something to keep our spirits up in some pretty variable weather might be the thing. So find something sunny to cheer us up. At a stretch maybe you used "Sunny 16"... though I doubt that's going to win any prizes! Entries in this thread, by, say, Saturday 16th January, and I'll put a poll up after that.

Edited to add: I'm sure we all know it, but this is for those shots taken before now, get digging in your archives!

Please keep discussion to the thread linked here...

Well I associate "sunny" with the countryside in spring and summer with just a few cows around and the birds whistling...well ok there were a few clouds around but it was sunny where I was ;):-

Trickier than I thought.......

Decided on this one. Fuji GW690 MkIII on Ektar 100, Tonquin Beach, Near Tofino on Vancouver Island.

Pentax, probably ME, possibly Electro Spotmatic, 1977, Kodachrome. Simpson's Gap, Northern Territory, Australia.

Right at the limit of what I can get out of the Kodachrome here, in terms of high contrast! It was sunny out there...

EDIT: not sure what happened there, but it vanished form Photobucket. Reloaded it...

Sorry Chris, poll closed at 7:15pm today, automatically (72 hours after I set it up). John won by a clear margin, anyway!

Congratulations John, cracking shot.

Well done John, that was a very worthy winner.
