New Old Film Challenge #259 'Come fly with me'

Do you have photographs of aircraft or air travel. Then why not enter this competition? There's a chance you could win a first class flight*.

As usual the following rules apply:
1) Must be taken by you
2) Must have been taken on film, notwithstanding which, digital post processing is allowed
3) Must have been taken and developed prior to the start date of this challenge

Discussion in the Discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.

Please include details of the camera, lens, film etc and anything else of relevance, if you can possibly the details remember that far back. Perhaps you could also explain you reasons for the choice of image, as long as it doesn't contain vacuous statements like these:

"For me, photography means endless inspiration.
I use photography the way a painter might use paint.
Without photography I couldn't make my art..."

I could go on, but please don't allow me.

Entries close some time on midnight Tuesday 20th May 2025, following which a voting page will be opened with a three day voting window.

Please keep all discussion and comments in the "new old film discussion thread" https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/new-old-film-challenge-discussion-thread.698995/page-24

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OLD RULE THAT 'THE PICTURE MUST BE SCANNED BEFORE THE DATE OF THE CHALLENGE' HAS BEEN RESCINDED!

* If you enter some other competition that offers first class flights as prizes. :D

Just after arrival at Kangaroo Island airport, as the departing passengers board...

December 1974, a VERY windy arrival, as you can maybe tell. The guy from our hotel picked us up, but waited just outside the airstrip for takeoff; when the plane passed overhead it was flying sideways (or so it appeared!).

Pentax Spotmatic, one of the Takumar 55mm f/1.8 lenses, Kodak Ektachrome.

When you need a decent flashgun:-
RAF museum Grahame Park (I used to live there once but a dump now), funny bit with the arrow pointing to a person :)
