Anything to do with a favourite or favourites. A favourite photograph you have taken? Perhaps your favourite child or pet?

As usual the following rules apply:
1) Must be taken by you
2) Must have been taken on film, notwithstanding which, digital post processing is allowed
3) Must have been taken and developed prior to the start date of this challenge

Discussion in the Discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.

Please include details of the camera, lens, film etc and anything else of relevance, if you can possibly recall the details and remember far back. Perhaps you could also explain you reasons for the choice of image, as long as it doesn't contain vacuous statements like these:

For me, photography means endless inspiration.
I use photography the way a painter might use paint.
Without photography I couldn't make my art.
I could go on....

Entries close some time on 11th February 2025, following which a voting page will be opened with a three day voting window.

Please keep all discussion and comments in the "new old film discussion thread" https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/new-old-film-challenge-discussion-thread.698995/page-22

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RULE THAT 'THE PICTURE MUST BE SCANNED BEFORE THE DATE OF THE CHALLENGE' HAS BEEN RESCINDED!

One of the very few shots I printed that has always been up on the wall since 2008. The beach is at Oldshoremore in Sutherland, and is the quiet relative of the nearby iconic Sandwood Bay. Camera was my much missed Bronica RF645 with 45mm lens and orange filter, while the film was FP4+ devved in CM Pyro. (Creative Monochrome for those who remember them)

Nikon F70
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D
Adox Silvermax 100

After starting to shoot film again back in 2016, this photo quickly became a favourite among the ones I'd taken. It felt like something I might see in a book. It's far from perfect, but I was very pleased with it.

Some spring buds... EDIT I should add, this was a favourite from the first time I saw it after the dev/scan from an unknown lab (not Filmdev, I'm pretty sure), and even more so after it was featured in an expired film day a few years ago!

Pentax MX, SMC Pentax-M 100mm f/4 semi-macro lens, expired Kodacolor 200 probably at EI 100, taken with the assistance of a monopod.

One of my favourite shots, a happy accident, shot of a friend through the window of a coffee shop in Spitalfields Market in the City of London. Taken 13 years ago on a Nikkormat FTn
with a Nikon 55mm f1.2 lens on Rollei Retro 400s film. Processed in Rodinal and scanned on a Nikon Coolscan 9000.
