POST YOUR ENTRIES HERE....

The choice for this challenge, due to me dredging the bottom of the ideas barrel is artistic performance. So dig out your shots of bands, plays, performance poets, comedians, buskers, school plays, am-dram you know the sort of thing.

Usual rules apply, must be an old shot, must have been shot on film and must have been shot by you, it will run for 7 days until next Thursday, then voting for 3 days.

Taken in Canterbury several years ago Nikon 801s 35-70mm and Konica Centuria 200 now nine years OOD.

Street Music.

Let's try this backup from the Festival last year, when the hobo climbed on stage and joined in with Jennie and the Gents...

(ETA: let's see if that turns up later...)
(Edited again: second try...)

We just need some of them to get voting!
There was a little flurry of voting at the end which gave us an outright winner.

Well done to @Glyn Carnell for his excellent shot Practising for the school play, brilliantly scene and and captured.

And an honorable mention for the 3 runners up with 8 points
Andysnap
joxby
Martpix

Well done all.

@Glyn Carnell you get to choose the next New Old Film challenge, you can find a list of previous subjects here https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/the-film-conventional-challenge-index-thread.570945/

Challenges run for 7 days (or as near as we can manage), with 3 days for voting.

Just to say thanks to all the voters.... there was some very good photo's in this comp. and wish to offer my congrats to everyone who entered.
So, I get to choose the next comp. then? (Gulp) Well I've looked through the list of past and think I may have come up with something challenging..... "The Old and The New" all in one shot!

Hope that's OK

Guessing I have to abstain from this round...
Well done Glyn, no you don't need to abstain at all, you get to enter just like everybody else.

You just need to set up an entries thread and a discussion thread, if you want you can just copy and paste from an earlier round and just change the relevant bits for your theme.

Ok Nick.... I think I've set the threads up ok but I will opt to let you do the bit with the Poll as I aint a clue

Well done Glyn, you set up the poll once all the entries are in, don't worry it's simple process and when the time comes we'll talk you through it, if @Andysnap can do it anyone can.

Correct. (y)

Awe.. Poor Andy ;)
Q: Can it be a shot that has already been posted on the forum?

Yes, not a problem as long as you've dug it out of the archives that's all that matters. And we know some people have only just discovered film so their archive might only go back a couple of years or months but there are some like @ChrisR who's got some great stuff from the 70's and even @excalibur2 who started shooting film not long after Fox-Talbot so he has a huge archive to choose from.
