Moonlight Orchestra Dance Band, Newmarket, a hotel perhaps or a club of some sort. 1980?, I can't remember which. I'm not playing because the arrangement only demanded one trombone. Yashica Electro, Kodak CF 1000 5090. A great, fast, grainy film, not as hot as GAF 500 though.
Wish I could remember everyone's name, from left to right, Richard Battersby (bass trombone), ? (Hammond organ), Rory Woodruff (tenor sax), John Woodruff (Bb sousaphone), L? (soprano/alto sax), ? (trombone), ? (drums), ? (cornet, exceptional player, by the way), Lucy (alto sax), ? (lead trumpet). We rehearsed at the Cherry Tree pub in Soham, in the old bandstand.

Sorry if I have gone beyond the rules and bounds of the challenge.

Closed for entries poll now open.

The poll has now closed and the joint winners are excalibur2 and Mrs Snap, so congratulations to you both and I am sure you can decide on who chooses the next topic.

Thanks Richard and congratulations to Brian. There were some excellent entries this time.

To celebrate Brian's return to F&C, I think he should choose the next theme.

Here you go Brian:

It’s not quite up to date, but most of them are there.

Well it's hard to know what others have in their collection...what about "a young child wearing something that's amusing"?.......I could start it off but would others find it a popular subject?
