New old boy needs help already

Hi,
I am a born again photographer, have been using a second hand 400d and a efs 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS lens its a revelation , its great not having to mess about with chemicals enlargers film tanks.

I recently rejoined a local camera club and want to start entering competitions again in the DPI and print section.

I wondered if some one could help me with some questions:
would I see a big increase in quality of print by upgrading from my old 400d to EOS7D?
is it worth me biting the bullet and getting a 5DMK11 and new glass

Use what you have and get used to that first!
If you want to see what that lens can produce, look HERE It is a cracking lens for the money, capable of some stunning images.
If and when you decide you have all you can get out of your gear, then think about an upgrade!

Yeah, if you're not being limited by your gear why change it?

When you feel it's limiting then move on at which time they're maybe be a 5diii.
