New Nikon D80 firmware - V1.11

This firmware resolves an issue which, in rare cases, causes the battery indicator to blink whilst shooting regardless of the level of charge in the battery.

IMO, if you don't have the problem, don't try to fix it!
 
I'm always wary of updating firmware, I'll only do it if I'm getting lots of problems at and upgrade is a few months old and has been tested with plenty of good results. I may also update it if it offers new facilities that are worth the risk. I would be interested to hear of anyone that has updated to this new firmware and has a positive experience, and also if it has any benefits to make updating worthwhile. Otherwise it's an unnecessary risk for me that I won't be taking!
 
Haven't upgraded. Haven't had a problem with 1.10 yet.
