New Monitor (on a tight budget)

I'm thinking of replacing my old monitor (2006 19" Dell - 1280x1084) as I'm not sure that it is as sharp as I'd like for photo editing. I've just got a new laptop with a resolution of 3200x1800 and my photos look so much clearer and crisper too. I've calibrated my Dell monitor with a colourmunki but the images appear 'soft'.
Any recommendations for a decent monitor for less than £150?

Is 150 the max? If not have a look on amazon at the dell ips 22 or 23" ones. Otherwise look for used dell ips especially dell 2209wa.

IPS is basically a screen you can look at from any angle and still see an undistorted image.
