Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum and pretty new to photography.
Is there anywhere on this site where I can look at critiques of photographs so I can learn a bit more? Any help would be great.

Hi and welcome to TP

As above, there are different sections depending on what you shoot, don't forget you can also upload your photos for critiques of your own photographs, which can be very helpful
 
Thank you. I see great photos on here......I'm too embarrassed to put any of mine on. I've gone from a Panasonic Lumix FZ45 which I could use and take decent(ish) photos with, to a Nikon 3100 which I can't even focus properly :thinking:. I hope I get the hang of it soon.

Dont be embarrassed about putting them up - if you're having a problem with something, posting an image with your shooting settings can help people suggest what you've poss gone amiss with.

I have done the same, FZ38 which I thought I had the hang of, to canon 400D which I could just about get to work (my youngest then pulled it off of the side and smashed it:mad:) and I now have a Nikon D3100, that at first I couldn't get to grips with. I am slowly learning, although I hardly used it last year, I am going to try and use it a lot more in 2014. I am also new to this forum, is there a camera specific forum page on it??

Welcome to TP the most hopeful and yet stressful forum going lol. Dont be embarrassed to post shots and questions. Though alot of people here shoot canon some of us still have a lil class I have a d7100 ;) so any issies mate just shout up.

And what sorta thing do you shoot?
