Hallo All
Just to say hello.

I've been taking photo's as a bit of a hobby for 3 years or so now...and I've just upgraded to the dizzy heights of my first DSLR . (Nikon D3100).

So I thought it a good idea to join a learned forum like this one , to gain ideas and perhaps ask the odd daft "newbie" type question.

I'm mainly interested in landscape, macro and wildlife , so hopefully I'll get to be able to drive the new kit well enough to get some worthwhile piccies.

It's true, if someone on TP doesn't know, then it ain't worth knowing!

Even though I'm a canon user I must agree the D3100 seems to be a pretty good introduction to the world of DSLR's
