Hi guys (& girls)I'm new to all things DSLR just got this http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/80640/show.html most of my photos will be of Motorsport (autograss) so I guess I'm ok with my kit for now.Time will tell so now it's just trial & error probably lots of error

Hi Smurf, (Rob),
Welcome to Talk Photography. I too am new to this site, and will be posting a thread as soon as I have finished this.
The kit isn't too bad for the price I think, good place to start at least, though personally I am disappointed with my EOS550D, maybe it's just me, but I much prefer the Nikon cameras, sharper images and cheaper, (though still expensive), lenses.
A quick look through the forum however tells me that there are many helpful topics here and seeing as you are new to all things DSLR, don't be affraid to ask. We all start somewhere
