hi i would just like to say hello to everyone,i am totally new to digital photography,i still have not got a camera yet,cant make my mind up ah ah,i am trying to gain a bit of knowledge first,at 56 years old its a bit daunting,but this site is fantastic.do you think a nikon d5000 would make a be a good starter camera,thank you in advance.reedwarbler.

i have had hold of the nikon and it feels good but i am dithering between d5000 or d90.
