Hello everybody

Im a complete novice to photography and so Im hoping to pick up some valuable tips and advice up from the forum.

I started using a DSL (Sony Alpha a350) last year and currently have the kit 18-70 mm lens and an additional 75-300 mm sony lens. I like the style of macro photography and will be looking to invest in a macro lens in the not too distant future so any recommendations would be welcome

I am using an Imac with the aperture 2 software to store and edit my photographs which again Im a complete newcomer with limited i.t experience.

Also advice onto how to download photos onto the forum would be welcome.

Welcome, I,m sure you will find what you seek in the forum. cant help myself though as I,m a PC... and windows 7 was my idea.

many people upload their images to a host site
but i dont as I've useless at computer stuff -- ages tells !

so reduce image to 800x600 using Paint.Net or similar and save file size <200kb

open TP - at the top menu bar open "Galleries" in a new tab
select "Upload Photos" - browse - goto your image - select/open
back to Galleries - Upload
your image is now in your folder at TP

open the image..........copy Linked Image URL NOT the thumbnail

open your post in relevant TP forum
click small mountain icon
paste OK
should now load into your post
