New member, hi guys
Can anyone help me, gonna buy a telephoto lens, seen this on Amazon for £114
Nikon AF 70-300/4.0-5.6 G

My camera has got F type fitting but not sure if this will fit, the other thing is, not sue if it's a VR type lens

Help
 
Can't you tell I'm new, can't even spell Nikon, predictive text is not good
 
Looked at KR's review and he notes that will not auto focus on D40/D40x/D60/D5000 so it must rely on screw focus instead of AF-S. The D70s has screw focus so should hopefully autofocus.
 
Hi there this lens will work on your Nikon d70s as the camera has a built in auto focus motor. For that price I would say that it is not VR, but still a good lens

No it's not, it's an awful lens :lol: I'd rather save up a few quid more look around for a 55-200 VR...

I think I will save my penny and go for a decent VR type lens
